Alinity Divine
Alinity made an appearance in a lawsuit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo from California filed an action in civil court seeking to recover $25 million in damages from Twitch. It claimed that Twitch provided users with "overly provocative sexual content" by streamers with females while playing on the site. According to court records from Dexerto Estavillo who previously sued Microsoft as well as Sony in addition to Nintendo and Blizzard, filed the lawsuit on June 15, and Twitch received an official summons on the next day. Estavillo as per the Santa Clara Superior Court of California complaint the suit, has a myriad health issues which force him to rely on the Internet for his entertainment. He is also suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder(OCD) and a sexual addiction. Based on the suit, Twitch makes these issues more severe. The complaint states that "the streamers who are female remain exposed to Twitch viewers who want to play video games but are instead subjected to sexually addictive content and content on a regular and regular daily schedule." Alinity isn't included. The complaint requests all of the above streamers to be removed permanently from Twitch in violation of the TOS. Additionally, it wants to pay the payment of $25 million, that will "be split evenly between the plaintiff and other Twitch Turbo Subscribers, and any remaining funds."
